International Duties & Taxes

We proudly serve customers from all over the world. In order to make your shopping experience hassle free, we have created a guide on relevant duties and taxes below.
United States

For all the shipments within the US, relevant duties and taxes are prepaid and there are no additional duties or taxes to pay.

We ship with FedEx on "DDP" (Delivery Duty Paid) terms which means any potential taxes or duties are levied on us and we are responsible for any additional charges.


Canada

For all orders across Canada, relevant state taxes are included and prepaid in the total price when paying in $CAD, and there are no additional duties or taxes to pay.

Please note, if you are located in Canada and opt to pay in $USD instead of $CAD on our website, this will incur additional local duties & taxes as they are not included in $USD pricing.

United Kingdom

For all orders to the United Kingdom, relevant duties, taxes and VAT are included and prepaid in the total price when paying in £GBP, and there are no additional duties or taxes to pay.

Please note, if you are located in the UK and opt to pay in $USD instead of £GBP on our website, this will incur additional local duties, taxes, and VAT, as they are not included in $USD pricing.

We ship with FedEx on "DDP" (Delivery Duty Paid) terms which means any potential taxes or duties are levied on us and we are responsible for any additional charges.


Australia

For all orders to Australia, please go to our local site to order. All relevant duties and taxes are prepaid and there are no additional duties or taxes to pay.

Since Australia-New Zealand has a free trade agreement in place and our rings are manufactured in New Zealand, the 5% import duty is waived off on the ring. In regards to the 10% GST, our estimates or pricing already includes GST.

We pay for any GST or clearance charges by shipping with FedEx on "DDP" (Delivery Duty Paid) terms which means any potential taxes or duties are levied on us as a shipper and we are responsible for additional charges.


New Zealand

For all orders to New Zealand, please go to our local site to order. Please note the amount on estimates is inclusive of 15% GST and there are no additional taxes to pay.

If you are travelling overseas from New Zealand and are flying out of Auckland then you can also avail the option of buying the ring duty free. For more information on collecting your purchase duty free from airport, please contact one of our consultants by mailing us on design@nolanandvada.com


Other Countries

For international shipments outside of the USA, Canada, UK, Australia and New Zealand, any custom duties and taxes levied by local authorities are the responsibilities of the recipient. We recommend you to check about relevant taxes and duties with local authorities before placing an order with us.

I felt as if the ring perfectly fit my girlfriend's (now fiancé) character, and she absolutely loved it. I have to admit that initially I was a bit hesitant to have such an important and meaningful piece of jewelry created 100% virtually, but after experiencing the entire process and seeing the finished ring in person, I cannot recommend Nolan and Vada enough!

My wife and I had a tremendous experience with Nolan and Vada, who delivered to us a set of rings that we are absolutely delighted with. They were able to provide us with a lovely sapphire engagement ring with an Australian sapphire, and paired it with a modified wedding band so that they could be worn as a set. When my girlfriend (now fiance!!) told me she wanted something a bit more unique than a diamond, I had a really hard time finding the ideal stone & ring.
